We are delighted to welcome you to our new website. It’s a new online presence for bespoke flooring fitters Martin Allen for 2017 and beyond – one that we feel reflects the cutting-edge nature of our business.

Our new look website is designed with simplicity, elegance and accessibility. We want to provide a great-looking platform to showcase the best of our work. You’ll notice significant improvements when browsing the website, not least the ease of navigation and the ordering of logical, vertical sections. The site is also mobile-ready. This means you can browse on the go via tablet or smartphone.

New website – yes – but we haven’t lost touch with our traditional values or our ethos of personal client relationships. We hope you see this during your visit. Our aim – to be the number one wood flooring fitter and French polishers in our field – hasn’t changed either. That’s why we’ve made contacting us at our Leicester HQ even easier via our new Contact Us section.

We realised that to do our exemplary service justice; we had to bring Martin Allen into the 21st century with a Google-friendly online presence. You’ll notice the volume of detail here is tenfold that of our previous effort, which helps those search engine spiders. It’s now easier for new clients to find us on the web and for us to form connected working relationships.

We’ll also update this blog as we can, keeping you in touch with all the latest news from the world of Martin Allen. We’ll share industry-insider tips and tricks, doused with routine updates on all our latest projects, partnerships and business developments.

Props to the web team

As a quick plug for the web developer, we chose to work with Dynamics Tech, a local IT company based in Leicestershire. Mark (the owner) lives just up the road from me, which has been rather handy.

Dynamics Tech has pushed us to think modern and move with the times. We could not believe the change in web technology. Our website is powered by WordPress, which is easy to maintain and provides scope for customisation. Dynamics Tech also helped us with copywriting, making our words more suitable for the web and our customers.

We now also better understand the traffic coming to the site using Google Analytics. Dynamics Tech sets things in motion by learning more about our business. They learned who we are, what makes Martin Allen different, who our clients are, and our business goals.  That impressed us, and we now understand that not only does the website work to help meet our business goals – it also reflects who we now are, who our existing clients are and who our future customers could be. I can now answer fundamental questions about who our online visitors are through Google reports. This will help us plan and budget better for the future.

In addition to building the website, Dynamics Tech hosts our website and provides 24/7 support and protection. We now have new email addresses that help us better communicate internally and externally with our customers. As a Microsoft Small Business Partner, Dynamics Tech has even more great ideas to help the business. We are all very excited about this new business relationship.
