The Hallway: A Herringbone Delight
We embarked on an innovative task at the Patel residence a few years back. The clients opted for reclaimed wood pine blocks sourced from a historic church – a unique choice that set the tone for the entire project. Our skilled team meticulously fitted the reclaimed pine in a captivating herringbone pattern accented with a twin border. Following the installation, we expertly sanded and filled any imperfections, culminating in a stunning transformation. The final touch of a Bonakemi satin-lacquer finish added a timeless allure to the traditional space, leaving all involved thoroughly satisfied.

The Lounge: A Modern Revamp
Returning to the same property after two years, a fresh challenge awaited us in the lounge area. The existing dark brown pine floorboards created a sense of confinement, starkly contrasting with the room’s white interior decor. Our task was clear – to breathe new life into the lounge floor. We seamlessly integrated with the contemporary furnishings by skillfully sanding off the dark stain and applying a sleek white-wiping stain to the pine. The addition of a satin Junckers high-performance lacquer provided the perfect finishing touch, creating a harmonious balance between modern aesthetics and traditional charm.
