1. Laying the Groundwork: We laid a plastic membrane and taped the joints to ensure a moisture barrier. Then, 22-inch-thick sheets of Kingspan insulation were installed. These essential groundwork steps set a solid foundation for the flooring.
2. Cutting and Positioning: The next phase involved cutting thousands of holes in the insulation to accommodate the cradles. With precision and care, we positioned the battens, ensuring a minimal margin for error. This complex process was executed flawlessly, showcasing our team’s expertise and attention to detail.
3. Final Application: Once the line markers had laid down three full-sized badminton courts, we returned to apply a final coat of sports lacquer. This enhanced the floor’s appearance and provided an additional layer of protection, ensuring longevity.
