This ambitious wood floor renovation project saw us revamp 43 restaurants, showcasing our dedication to quality and detail.

Comprehensive Wood Floor Renovation Across 43 La Tasca Locations

Each refurbishment project commenced on a Sunday evening. After a brief rest, our team was on-site, working tirelessly all day Monday and Tuesday to meet the tight Wednesday handover deadlines. These long hours were necessary to overcome each restaurant’s unique challenges and turn La Tasca’s vision into a polished reality.

Transformative Techniques and Superior Materials

Collaborating with other trades, we primarily worked with very dark wood. Our process involved meticulously sanding off the dated, dark finishes and refinishing each wood board to a natural effect using Junckers’ hard-wearing, high-performance lacquer. In addition to the floors, we stripped and repolished the wooden bar tops with an A/C lacquer, ensuring a seamless and durable finish.

In several locations, we took the renovation a step further by laying new oak wood floors, completely transforming the appearance and ambience of the restaurants. This attention to detail and commitment to excellence set Martin Allen Flooring and French Polishing apart.
